The thing that I don't like about the Kress cabs is that he doesn't put a center post in. He claims that they are exact to an old Marshall cab of his (but he left out one detail).

He used to pull the center post out of his old Marshall cabs also. I used to have trouble with the back board vibrating against that post and I think that was his complaint as well.

I love my Kress cabs (one of mine but with different speakers and thinner gauge wire).

I put Motor City Solutions in it recently and I love it. I got some flack for not getting pickup covers but I kinda like how it looks. I took the pick guard off for now also.

Do you dig the Adrian Smith Jackson? I'm a huge Charvel/ GMW fan, but that Jackson falls right in line w/ what I like.

Yeah, I dig it. It took some break in time but it is really a sweet guitar. I installed a brass block, brass claw, titanium pieces in the bridge and swapped out the pick-ups so it has been fully hot-rodded now.
