I wouldn't waste my money on Gibson or PRS***! You really should checkout Carvin guitars. I love my TL60.

Man, that look almost just like my TL60. I've got block inlays and had it routed for 3 single coils and installed Rio Grande's.

I looked around a bit and found a Carvin I really like the shape of. I think I'm going to go ahead with one of those. I can't find many higher end 7 string guitars so it seems like a good choice for me. How long have you owned one and have you had any problems?

Anybody else could they chime in on Carvin? I'm specifically making sure that it LASTS, frets not wearing down or things of that nature if I keep it well maintained.
I've had mine for quite a few years with no problems. I have compared it side by side with several high end PRS's and I prefer my Carvin. NOTHING about the PRS was of higher quality, and the huge block that they call a neck joint is just rediculous. We're in the 21st century, not the 1940's or 50's. As far as fret wear goes, if you're ordering it new, I'd go with stainless steel fret wire. They last MUCH longer.
