Very true.

In fact ALL religion & voodoo was invented in small villages & towns where the elders devised a way to control their people without having an armed force to do so.

Things like Christmas, Lent, Easter etc etc were health check observations by the elders to clearly see who was a believer and in line & who wasn't.

It is that plain & simple.

Communism seeks ultimately to remove God and replace Him with the state. This is why one of the first things a communist state does after takeover is remove religion from schools and replace it with evolution-theory teaching.

It's in the Communist Manifesto. You can't have the blind loyalty of the masses if it perceives any entity other than the state as being the arbiter of truth and moral guidance.
