Laura - how long from start to finish does a custom, one-off LP like that take? With just a single guy making it...

Does he do them in batches, or just one at a time?

That's really sweet,and I'm not affraid to say I'm
jealous.
I'll take 2!

That is a beautiful LP! :inlove: How do I always end up being in bands with scum bags who steal my rehearsal space rent money?
I have been lucky in that regard.

He usually likes to start 3 at a time. He makes them in his garage (for now) so his work can be weather dependent (he can't spray if it is too hot or cold or too humid). I am not sure how much time it normally takes but I would guess 2-3 months depending on what else he has going at the time.

OH MY MY!!!!I would love my name on the headstock of one of them!!!!!!!

CONGRATS!!!

I was following this on HCAF...but never followed up.

It's WAYYY more beautiful that I dreamed it could be. That looks VERY '59 with a sweet maple neck...(my personal preference for guitars)

Just killer with awesome parts! Awesome!

He buys all the wood and makes them from "scratch". I will post some more pics next time he starts a few more. He is finishing up a few now I think.
