I'm hoping that will be the same for me.

I miss the SLO lead tone, too...but, the rhythm tone never did much for me... :dunno: ...sorta too polite/smooth when I wanted it to have grit and kerrang.

It was a gentlemanly crunch. When I want to blow the balls off a bull at 100 yards, I need it to happen with the amp and not a pedal.

Having said that, I have never played, just listened to shitty clips. I keep my eye on them on ebay all the time.

I've decided to make the trade. I've been thinking about since yesterday and what the hell, I'm doing it. I dont know WTF is wrong with me, why I cant be happy but I gotta do it. I want to talk to some about my GAS but no one here suffers from GAS  :rawk: \:D/  :hys: :hys: :hys:

I just sold my SLO a week ago and I am already regret selling it!

My primary reason for selling it was also the effects loop. I bought a Mesa Mark V which is a great amp and a lot more versatile... but it's no SLO.

Can change a lot of that with preamp tubes.

I just never understand what the big issue is with the loop? I don't use one since I slave and run a Wet/Dry or parallel rig. But I've used it before with a 2290, PCM 70 and a few Eventide units - never any issue.

SLO has to be one of the top 5 amps of all time.

At least they're affordable in the US. Here in Europe they cost an arm and a leg :aww:

Awesome...I never cared much for the mods myself.

The loop is line level only ,meaning that it overpowers pedals. It only works on rack gear.

Correct, but I never use pedals. It is easy enough to reduce the signal if you must.

slo and pedals? whaaaaaaaa.

real men reamp. into another slo.
