how's thier product quality? anywhere near as good as Doug?

and for USA buyers, how was customs handled? i know UPS allways seems to screw me on anything that comes out of Canada. seems like maybe if the USPS was used, might be better on customs?

Jon and his crew at thetubestore.com ROCK!!!!!

I've done a LOT of business with them and they're totally excellent in my HUMBLEST and most HONEST of opines... Jon knows his glass, they're speedy, they're well priced, and they take care of bidniz if something goes wrong with a tube!

Definitely :2thumbsup:

Mo

PS - I live in Canada so can't comment on the customs bit, but the pricing is in USD due to the volume he does with south of the border interests.

I used to order from Doug, but I've been ordering from Tube Store for teh last couple years.
Nothing but great service.

I've bought from the TubeStore a few times. No issues with customs. 5-7 day delivery was about $8. Next day delivery was about $16. Really fast shipping after placing your order. They were also very responsive to questions.

I'm in Canada so it is convenient for me. Fast delivery, excellent service. I only buy tubes from them.

I've used them a couple of times, no problems, helpful guys, etc..

Don't use UPS they always suck.

Just use USPS and you won't get screwed anymore. On everything that I order from the US I only get charged Canada's GST. I imagine it would be the same from Canada to the US.

How do you order from "The Tube Store Canada"? They don't have a store in Canada do they?

Ive had great experiences using them. good cust service on a return

Jon's business is actually located in Ontario, albeit most of his retail is done North America wide, so an actual storefront is less needed than his URL.

As mentioned, I'm hard pressed to go with anyone else.

I literally live right down the street from the tube store and they are great guys! I've done a ton of business with them! no shipping though! hahaha

Buy with confidence!

cheers!

Great experience...and no quibbles when I had couple of issues on early tube life failure (bias drift well out of matched spec.)

Jon answers emails quickly and well too.

I've never paid a dime in customs fees between Canada and the USA on over 20 shipments from them either....perhaps it's included in the postage/UPS cost?

So I just order from the website and he'll see I'm from Manitoba and will take care of the rest?
I'd prefer Canada Post delivery, which I would state in the order of course....

http://www.tctubes.com One of the best at service and matching. So many dealers can't match worth a shit and factory matching is shit when an amp is putting 450-520 volts on the plates. Most match at 250v. Chelsea and Tyler. Goes the extra mile. Calls me if necessary and responds with informative lenghthy emails. 90 day warranty they honor on even expensive tubes. Mostly NOS but they do have some new production. Laura Valve Queen is good also.
