Can anyone tell me about say a Tortuga effects Martini Chorus, or the Red Witch for instance, or Analogman. I loved all the youtube clips I've heard

I'd like to replace my MXR Stereo Chorus with a true bypass top of the line Chorus....

Regards!
Nico.

Personally, I'd just get the Eventide ModFactor and call it a day - you'll get everything out of that box and then some... Dead quiet, studio grade, programmable, and smart. There's no comparison IMHO.

Just sayin'...

Mow much pedalboard real estate do you have? That's a determining factor.

The Retro-Sonic Chorus is hard to beat. Total Boss CE1 Clone.

The Fulltone Choralflanges are great too. I've had one.

Check out the Electro Harmonix stuff! Don't see anyone talking about them around here. Small Clone, PolyChorus, Electric Mistress. They also make smaller versions of their pedals, the nano series, if you need a smaller footprint.

I like the Fulltone ChoralFlange too.

Man, you all make me feel like a cheap fucker for loving my Dano cool cat chorus.

The cool cat chorus is very good. The best ive heard is the Retro-Sonic. BYOC isnt bad either

I have had them all the retro sonic is on my board.

You might also like Visual Sound's Liquid Chorus. I'm aware it's not a common choice, but it Works For Me (TM).

The one I had was lush and watery but there was an odd high pitched squeal too. Could just have been mine, or maybe my setup, the guy I sold it to never mentioned it.

I few that I like a lot:
Red Witch
Retrosonic
Dr Scientist
Diamond

The red witch is the best chorus I've played/owned. I have the Strymon Ola now - which is a great pedal, but I don't like it as much as I liked the red witch. I sold the red witch when I bought the Axe FX.

I've heard good things about the Retro Sonic too.

I've had a bunch of em. Fulltone, Analogman.

I always come back to my CE-5.

Seeing as my Eventide suggestion gained ZERO traction in this thread, I do have to say +1  to EHX's products.

I've got several... Nothing chorus though, for reasons mentioned above, ahem :student:

I'm an absolute chorus fanatic- and to me the best chorus is in the Deluxe Electric Mistress flanger, by Electro Harmonix.

Second best is the older version of the H2O Liquid Chorus & Echo by Visual Sound. I still use it on my pedalboard.

For gainy sounds though- both get a little 'exaggerated' sounding. It's lush and rich but a little too strong after using it for more than one song. I've got a Rockman Stereo Chorus/Delay for the gainy stuff. I use it in front of the amp too- sounds warmer.

I have the Red Witch and REALLY like it! Best I've owned by far.
