This is for those parts in songs where you wonder "WTF is he doing?". Like the intro for Meanstreet back in the day.

I'll start with the extremely short duration "lick" from Extreme's Peacemaker Die. WTF is Nuno doing at 1:40-1:42 (yeah, it's less than 2 seconds).

Sounds like he's chopping the scale he played right before that in half 2x

In Peacemaker die is it Nuno's fantastic right hand funky-shuffle technique/rhythm sense.
In Teacher's pet he tapping two notes on G a D string at time, something like Van Halen in Mean street.
