If you switch through the gears with the footswitch aren't you going through various stages of gain?
Is gear 1 clean enough to roll the volume down on the guitar and get pretty clean?

AFAIK, the Gears aren't footswitchable (you can switch between OD1 and OD2). Unless this is something new Scott put in.

AFAIK, the Gears aren't footswitchable (you can switch between OD1 and OD2). Unless this is something new Scott put in.
If the manual is correct, that would be wrong, here from the manual:

Does the QR have anything like an old non-MV Marshall tone? The web site says they do not have non-MV amps but it does not mention how close, if at all they get. Not a deal breaker to me.
