...the record companies partnered with Google in China to make mp3s available for free through Google to try and recover some of the revenue lost from theft.

Since most people are honest in the rest of the world this service is not available to most people.

Its not too hard to figure out how to trick them into thinking your computer is in China if you want to steal music but thats not the point of this thread. Theft is theft.
