Things you WILL DEFINITELY DO in 2011!

I don't mean this to be a "objectives" thread or "new years resolution" thing...... just what do you have in mind you want to do in 2011, and you'll put 100% energy into making it happen?

me:

1) Record my debut album

2) Gig my ASS OFF

3) Start making a living out of Music and my home studio doing radio jingles, voice over, session vocalist/guitarist work.

4) End up with a ripped to shreds body before march (already lost 35lbs, I need another 15lbs off to attain my goal)

5) Buy a new car which I desperately need

6) SERIOUSLY check out apartments with my girlfriend because next year I'm proposing and getting married (shhhh she doesn't know yet :D)

7) Obviously GET MORE GEAR!! hahaha, but being more specific, I really want to get a Tele, a Gibson ES335 or an ES 339, and a Two Rock amp (will probably sell my VH4 to fund it)

get another recto, I found a recto from 92 black face/chrome chassis, i found for 1200. im pretty happy, and Its a great price
 
1 - Install the rest of my suspension
2 - Upgrade my brakes
3 - Change my idler pulley
4 - Get my CCW
 
Take lessons..... Lots of 'em

Simplify everything in my life

Take better care of my ailing and aging mother

Take better care of myself

Make love to my wife more!
 
pay taxes/eat/sleep/shit - repeat as necessary.

start my rack build

build a marshall (prototype off the wall design)

do excellent in school

work a job while in school

read more books - lots of books.
 
Continue music theory lessons, get in shape, buy a new amp(Bogner 20th Shiva), and get a new guitar too(PRS SC245 10 top w/ birds). I really need to start my own band too, 2011 is gonna be my year!!
 
1. Put out my 2nd instrumental cd - it's actually almost done now
2. Put together a band and play some instrumental shows
3. Get my original band FreaknMissy gigging more and get some new tunes
4. Practice,practice and practice more :)
5. Take a few more lessons from Jamie Kime and John Ziegler
6. Get my cover band The Average Joe's gigging again - been off since November due to bass player's wife had a baby.
 
get in better shape than I am in.

Debut cd. Looks promising.....I've worked on it two straight days. :D
 
helping write the new warbeast cd.(new weekend)
helping with the new rotting corpse.(in march)
hanging with juggernaut in dfw.(hopefully when i hook up with corpse)
dean guitars d.o.a. party in feb.
trading a guitar for a harley (SCORE!!!)
getting another gutierrez custom.
paying off and picking up the isp sub from diezelduder.
finally setting up my big rig again.
buying a bottle of crown xr.
drinking said bottle by myself.
showing up at mailman's house in a dress. (the last three will probably happen on the same day)
 
Drop 50 lbs
Spend QUALITY time with my kids
Tell more people in my life I love them
Get back to doing voice over work again!
Much more but no time watching the kids to just dance!
 
Oh man thats crazy, but here it goes

1. own a Splawn Quickrod or Nitro
2. lose 20lbs
3. Start to make a living off of music (touring, and writing stuff)
4. Find a new Hard Rock band
5. POST HERE MORE (I like this place, and i don't come here enough...i'm normally a UG'er)

i plan to stop fucking around and give some sort of focus to furthering my career. possibly going to school.

Same things I wanted and hoped for for 2010...and 2009...and 2008...and...

In no particular order:
- happiness
- compassion
- gratitude
- health
- increase in musical proficiency
- increase in spiritual development
- maintaining a clean and sober lifestyle

- Start a new life with my girlfriend in Guanajuato, Mexico.
- Get a nice apartment.
- Get a nice job.
- Help out my girlfriend with her future career.
- Get in a much better shape.
- Do a master's degree in business.
- Meet a decent cello player, bass player and a drummer.
- Finish most of the songs of a concept album I started in 2010.
- Get me some more lessons.
- Get me a new guitar and 4x12 Diezel cab.
- Get some nice gigs around Mexico City.

2011 will be a busy year for me :rock:
