I don't know if anything on the Retro Wreck has been posted... if so, sorry. If not, check this out. This could make me go solid state.

Man it sounds great and Lance is a killer player as well, love his gig room too!!!

Did he say it was solid state?? I didn't catch it on the vid. If it is, man that sounds great!!!

Edit: Yep, checked the website.....it IS solid state!! Wow!

 WOW! I dug that. Is the price still being worked out, as the video said?

Wow, that sounded great. I'd love to plug into one and see if it worked for me.

That video is proof that solid state amps will eventually sound like tube amps.

I'd prefer to say solid state amps CAN sound like tube amps.

If they can make solid state sound sound like tubes I'm all for it. But I'd have to hear it in person to be convinced.

edit... oops... spoke to soon - just got to the band part of the video - that thing sounds awesome!

Sounds great to me regardless of what's in it. Then again, I would take a Tech21 Trademark 30 over a Peavey Classic 30 anyday. So I guess I've felt like SS has had the ability to sound great for quite a while...

I've always liked analog, solid state amps. (especially vs. digital modellers)

Hell, I own:

JC120H head
Pearce G2 preamp
Acoustic 150 head
Sansamp PSA-1 preamp

Lance said on TGP that it will be under $1K. If that's true, I'll pick one up for sure. I love that type of tone, and it's one of the few tones that I can't really get at the moment.

Amp sounded great!
To me thats really what its about.
I dont care if its tube or SS.
Headless deadguy Brang over his SS Ampeg this weekend for the amp fest and it was SMOKING HOT!!
Everyone there was rocking out on it and it sounded kick ass!
*Side note....gassing for that amp now....thanks MIKE!! :gethim:   **
But for the most part the Tube amps sound better to me.
Just sounding good and fitting in for what you want to use it for as really all that matters.
