Curt asked me to post some pics of the charvel in my avatar so here it is. It started life as an '80s import model 3 or 4 that I decided to do a relic job on. Only problem was I didn't know at the time that relicing is best performed on a nitro finished axe not POLY
That shit is thick
I still have some detail work to do on it but from 10 feet away it looks cool. It does play and sound great as well. I have been partial to ash bodied strats for awhile but I'm really digging the alder; a little more "heavier" sounding. Here are the specs:
'80s Charvel Body & hardware
Warmoth neck that's been on 3 or 4 different guitars over the years
Warmoth Pickgaurd
Original '83 or '84 Floyd Rose off of a "C" series Kramer Pacer w/big brass block
"Custom" Floyd Rose Bridge Saddle Trem Stop
Gibson 500T humbucker and Volume Pot
