Got in last night. I played this guy at NAMM 2019 and it sounded HUGE! Everyone said "it's running through XYZ rig at NAMM, blah blah blah"

I'm telling you, it sounds HUGE! Have tried it through all my cabs (Redbacks, K100's, V30/GB). The bottom end through my 212's and 412's holds up just fine. I personally prefer the BE channel over the JBE. With the Les Pauls it is rawk as frunk!

Going to try and see what boosts it likes but this little bastard is damn nice. Need to try the cab sim and compare to Torpedo/WoS.

EDIT:
Will do a proper playthrough demo but my adult ADHD wouldn't NOT let me post SOMETHING! Here's the P90 loaded Lester with the MF400 cab.

Badass man!! I was playing mine earlier. :) I love this amp. If I'm playing "typical" rock stuff I switch over to the BE but love the JBE mode when I'm doing the heavier stuff. I'm having fun playing my new LP thru it. I agree that Les Pauls are perfect with this amp. Just add a nice low end to the crunch.

Yeah man I am usually not interested in lunchbox amps but after playing this at NAMM I was in "insta-love". It's a punchy little bastard for sure. I really like the BE mode with my P90 loaded LP. Was playing in drop C on the JBE mode with my Diamond Renegade that has EMG's and it was heavy as hell.

I am just going to say Friedman amp tones are absolutely my favorite. I have some nice amps for sure and I have owned many more but I really like what Dave does.

The Buxom Boost sounds great with this amp. Boosting the treble a little via the EQ on the boost makes a huge difference :) In a good way.

Dave really made this little EL84 amp thump like a MotherF.....

The crazy thing is I still don't have a cab for mine. I'm still rocking out thru the XLR out to my monitors. :)

I really liked the one I had. It seemed to really like the Duncan 805 out front.

I'll try mine for sure. I am interested to try the Airis Tight Pre with it as well.

Ha! I am going to record the vids with both mic'd and XLR out at the same time and bounce between the two.

Not familiar with the Duncan. I'll have to give it a look see...

Looking forward to hearing that man!

Congrats in the Jr!
I liked the BE channel on my big JJ. I preferred boosting it to the JBE setting.
My fav pedal was a Timmy.

Enjoy and thanks for the clip (that I will check out later) :D

Yeah of course man. Full vid will get worked on this weekend for sure.

Just listened. Really digging the part starting at 3:11 and then when you flipped it to JBE mode I was like

If you have time on your full length to give us a little dropped tuned chugga on a pointy guitar that would be awesome. Really curious on how well that low end holds up in say drop C or B. But damn impressive for a 20w with EL84 glass.

Awesome playing as usual. Is this yours or are you 'borrowing' it?

Still loving mine! Amazing little amp!

Me too man! When I'm playing, what I hear is this huge stack. I don't even remember it is a small EL84 amp until I look over at it. :)

Yeah will do. I plan to show:
• P90's Crunch/Rock
• Les Paul with stock buckers
• EMG loaded D Standard or Drop C
• 7 Sting modern boosted

My goal is to make one that finally gets on the Friedman Page! LOL!
