Kreator is badass, particularly extreme aggression.
What gear was used on that album? I like :)

I see some Marshalls in the Betrayer video. Couldn't tell you which one though (having a tiny combo amp in a metal video is pretty odd though)
 
Well that album along with coma of souls and terrible certainty are among the best metal albums ever. Then again I am a kreator fanboy :lol:
 
I used to get a convincing Kreator type tone out of the TSL100. I used an SD1 and a KKV EQ in the loop.

TSL is shipping out today though. I keep hearing 6505+ clips and reaching for the winsauce. So I think it's gotta happen.

For Kreator toneage you just want a basic, classic thrash rig: JCM800 stack & something like a RAT or DS1 pedal with a humbucker loaded axe.
 
It's only within the past few years I got into them thanks to a friend. Kreator does indeed, kick serious ass. Unsure about the gear on that album, sorry!
 
i can get some kreator esque tones out of my mark iii.... it covers the thrash well.
anyways, i will post vids
 
Their newer stuff is badass too. They haven't changed a bit. Still, in-your-face, old-school thrash.
 
Kreator is fucking awesome. When I heard Terrible Certainty it was fucking on! :rock:

Last two records are kickass, especially Enemy of God. :thumbsup:

Kill for Pleasure is an old BLOOD FEAST album.

I'm a big KREATOR fan! Has played lots of their songs!! Currently play Extreme Aggression and Tormentor as covers with the band.
 
Fuck yes! :rock: I saw Kreator on the "Pleasure to Kill" tour back in '87 at the Metro in Chicago. Always one of my favorite thrash bands. :rock:

...lol! yep,my mistake,i meant to say Kreator's "Pleasure To Kill" album.funny thing i had,and still have,that Blood Feast "Kill For Pleasure" album also....back in the day when hanging out with certain death metal friends of mine,we'd be partying somewhere,then someone would shout "Kill For Pleasure" and someone else would yell "Pleasure To Kill"...then we'd all take a HUGE chug of beer :lol: :LOL: ..........ahh,the good old days ;) ....................caught Kreator 3-4 times back then and i remember the craziest,most brutal show was in 1988 at a club called Medusa's in chicago and they played a show with D.R.I. !!! man,talk about a violent crowd and show :scared:
