Don't want to join the 4k club? ;)

Anyways, thank God someone buys them or I wouldn't be able to later...

lol. People are stupid if they pay that.

I paid $2,500 for my CCV back in 2010 and that I thought that was a lot. Most I ever paid for an amp was $2,800 for a Mark 2C+.

Bogner Fish through a Fryette 2100 puts me well above the $4K club :)

Way overpriced and tbh his amps & mods are not even the best out there.

I see knobs that go to "11" and all I can think about is Nigel from Spinal Tap. Such a fucking funny scene, every guitarist needs to see, right? I tried a Friedman JJ Jr and the knobs went to 11 but the gain was only a 7, if compared to, say my Boogie at 6, that's Friedman at 11. I never have my Boogie gain or drive or volume at 10 because that's 11. Much too much, and that's without a boost pedal. I like Lee and had a GP1000 pre amp and that has gobs of gain, it went to 27 on a scale of 1-10. It ate tubes for lunch so I sold it.

I'm sending my money to Larry.

I like it. But I'd love it and IMHO would be complete if Lee started counting at Zero like all good Engineers do. Then $4.5K'd a drop in the bucket to add to my Squad!

$2500 is alot, especially right now with all going on.
Jobs, money are scarse.
All these high priced items will loose their value

Most expensive amp I ever bought was last weekend - a Marshall 2553 - and it was still about 1/3 of the Metaltronix one. I had about $1200 in trade into my like new SLO. If anyone can convince me an amp sounds thousands of dollars better than my current amps, I'm all ears.

$3000 to $5000 for an amp is becoming to commonplace. No amp is worth that. I own a VH4 and a Mezzabarba Trinity. Collectively I think the price tag new is about $8600. I bought used for a lot less.

I really want a Trinity but as is being discussed...too much money :/

But good.

Same as the Ampeg heads he did. They were OK, not great.

They were decent if they weren't catching on fire.

I've owned several of his modified Marshalls and an OG Metaltronix... they were all too thin, too bright, no thickness, and too icepicky. Blah.

I like the all metal headshell design. That looks cool.

Nice to see him still building gear though.

True enough. I remember liking the old Ampeg stuff well enough and loved the Crate Stealth.
