ALL - I have been offered a Fender '59 Bassman LTD Re-issue 4x10 in a trade. In terms of value I believe it is a fair trade. I mentioned in my sales posting that I was looking for older Bassman heads and this offer came in. Does anyone have any feedback (good, bad, or otherwise) on the amp. I have been wanting a Bassman as a complement to my modded Marshall and also for use as a pedal platform (probably the primary use). As I understand it, although the amp offered in trade is 45 watts, there should be plenty of headroom for use with the band. I would primarily focus on classic rock type tones when used as a pedal platform. I've read some reviews and listened to some sound clips but value the opinion of you guys as well. Any comments are much appreciated. (I will have the opportunity to see and play the amp ahead of time as well so that should help.) While my needs are covered with the amps I have, I suppose it may just be a matter of wanting to try something different. I figure I can't go wrong with a '76 JMP and an classic Fender. Thanx!
