Thoughts on Earthquaker Devices Arrows preamp booster

Anyone have one? I've watched most of the demos online but can't find anything geared towards using it as a boost for a high gain amp. I'd be using it with my Mesa Roadster and a Bogner Uberschall. Currently I'm using a Seymour Duncan 805, but I'm wanting something a bit more transparent that will still tighten up the low end and add some clarity.

I'm also considering the TC Electronic Spark. Same deal though, not a lot of reviews as it relates to boosting an already high gain amp. I'd appreciate any input you guys have.

As I understand it, the arrows is a boost with a mid emphasis. I have no direct experience with it but the demos sound great. I do use the earthquaker tone job. It's an eq but has great boosting and tone shaping ability to get pretty much whatever you want. I like having options to change what's getting boosted to fit each guitar and pickup I use...
