Titan Cerberus incoming.

Bought one off ebay the other day cheap and wondering if any one here has owned one or played one and what to expect. I've been interested in Titan amps for awhile now but when this popped up I had less than 10 minutes to research this model and the price was good so I pulled the trigger. Paid way less than half of a new one. So the quest continues.
 
Killer amps, Zach makes some GREAT sounding amps!!!! congrats, great price too....
 
Man I just looked up your auction and you snagged it for a great price. Congrats.

I've never tried the Cerberus, but I had the Custom 100. I called it the "Assripper 100" because that's exactly what it did. It was a great amp and one of the few I regret selling. Surprisingly versatile. I used to have a clip of it, but I lost the link. I think Zach still has it on his Titan myspace page.

Channel 3 on this one I think is supposed to be the same as the lead channle on the custon 100. Sounds encouraging guys, thanks for the input :thumbsup:
 
I don't think you're going to find anyone else that owns one, because I think that might be the only one in existence. That looks like the first one he ever built, and I don't remember seeing any others. It was first owned by FastRedPonyCar after it replaced his Custom. He made a bunch of videos. He then traded it to Jimosity (I think for a Bogner XTC), then I remember that guy trying to sell it. Not sure where it went after that. You can contact them for more information. Those are their names from Harmony Central. They might be here too, but I don't know if they have the same names. He lists them for $2600 on his website, so I guess this was a good price. :)
 
Great price! I was on here a while back trying to sell it for my buddy Scott. It was originally owned by FastRedPonyCar and then Jimosity as Sinnerx96 mentioned. Zach made some custom tweaks on it that turned it from great to even better. You will really enjoy this amp!

Yes I remember your add, told the guy I had seen for sale here earlier in the year. Is this your buddies amp or the next guy who bought it? Looking forward to it.
 
I was actually the first original owner who had it built. It was sent back for the 2nd channel to be modded and for the faceplate to be replaced since it cracked/chipped during shipping. After Zach decided to build me another one off a custom PCB with most likely one-off options for him (at least for now), he sold it to what I will have to guess is the list as some of you have stated (FastRedPonyCar, etc.).

If you have listened to some of the Custom 100 videos out there, you will absolutely love it, without question. It has the best clean channel I have ever played and a lead channel that will blow your mind. I almost never used clean channels for anything until I got this amp. The original crunch was so dark and thick that I found it 100% useless for anything. I have no idea what Zach turned it into, but if it was anything close to what we discussed when I sent it in, I bet it is awesome.
