Today’s $100 score!

Happy new guitar day. This guitar came up in my Facebook marketplace feed selling for $120. They normally sell for about 190 or so. I offer the guy 100 bucks and he accepted. Turns out he lives about a mile away and I actually know his wife because they own a store front downtown.

Anyway, I picked up the guitar today and I’m pleasantly surprised. The frets are great with no sharp edges and the guitar plays very well.

I don’t really like single coil pickups in the bridge position of any of my guitars so luckily I had this hot rail copy in my parts bin. The guitar is a blast play and scratches that Strat itch just fine.

That's pretty sweet. I always love playing different Strat-like guitars. You just never know when you are gonna find that hidden gem!
