International Potato Day is celebrated on May 30th each year. It was established by the United Nations General Assembly to raise awareness of the potato's nutritional, economic, environmental, and cultural importance. The day also aims to implement the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and achieve its Sustainable Development Goals
