either 2009 Tom Anderson drop top with s/s/h, with vintage trem. in mint cond. OR Prs custom 24 limited edition of 200 only Namm 2010 show special , mint con. also.
What would buy? advantages / disadvantages ?

I rarely play anything else since I got my Hollow Drop Top.

I would choose an Anderson over anything out there, any day of the week. I can't really say specific things that I prefer over a PRS in particular, I just like everything that an Anderson does.

I'm not a PRS fan myself, but they aren't bad.

I'd go Anderson

I've never really understood the PRS thing-they just don't play that well. But that's just personal preference and obviously I'm in the minority, many people swear by them. Try both but with the experience I have with Andersons, you really can't go wrong with them.

I'd go with the Tom Anderson, they're amazing guitars. I'm sure there are good PRSs out there, but I've never played one I liked.

Tough call... I do like my 24 fretters but an Anderson Drop Top is such a beauty.

Id say go with the Anderson...and i just bought a prs but i only paid 1700 CAD for it...both are great guitar but its a preference thing..diff scale diff fretboard radius...

I like the prs, i played alot of andersons and they was really nice but i liked my prs stuff better.

I think more people dislike PRS than like them. IDK maybe you could say that about every guitar if you think about it.

PRS cu 24 has a nice neck shape. One of their best. That is always the first thing for me in a guitar, does the neck feel right to me? So, it would depend on the neck shape of the Anderson.

I'm not a fan of the 25" scale really. Don't like PRS pups either. Anderson's pups are great.

If it was me, the Anderson if I liked the neck shape.

I am a mahogany guy with shrt fingers.PRS sounds better for me unless Anderson has the same wood combo. If u aren't int a specific type wood and th 24 frets Anderson is the way to go.Hpe that helps

They're very different guitars, play them both and decide.

However, i did own a PRS MCarty with a Rosewood neck at the same time as my Drop Top. I liked the McCarty but my Drop Top just sounded better to my ears for what i like to hear.

split the deference and kick both thier asses!

Anderson Bulldog!

I'd get the Anderson, and I'm a PRS guy
I've always regretted getting rid of my Anderson

I'd go with the Anderson, only because it'd be better suited to my style.

anderson won, possibly because it was more sexy, first hot rodded tele style i've own. but my old old fenders fell better and ,u old l
l.p, and of course my lados and f 's just kill them all.

It's like apples to french fries, not even apples to oranges.

I'd take the Tom Anderson; I don't like the PRS 25" scale for some reason and prefer bolt-on to set neck tones most of the time. But there is no bad choice here.

This is a stupid question. What wood are they both made from? What wood are you after? T/A seem to be the flavor of the month, PRS used to be. I'm not knocking T/A, I own one, awesome guitars, but you need to buy what suits you. As mentioned if you're after Mahogony you can't beat the T/A Bulldog.

found the t/a to be very pretty, the neck felt better than the prs, but my old fender, L.p's, lado's, f guitars, frankstein guitar works axes are still better for feel and sound, the t/a reminds me of my lado's.
