Tomorrow: NAD - BE50!!!

Yesterday I got the "this has shipped" notice from Sweetwater, so tomorrow is NAD!

I will let you guys know how it sounds.
 
Can’t wait till it lands at the practice pad and get those tubes cooking

Congrats! Looking forward to hearing what you think of it. Apparently I didn't get in early enough to snag one from the first batch, still waiting on mine to ship.

I did receive mine today. After a busy day I made it to the practice pad, after a couple of minutes got to jam the amp. It sounds as good as expected, right where my modded Marshall 205 left off. The amp has brilliant cleans, absolulty pleased with them. The be/Hbe channels work as expected. I must say never having an hbe channel, that’s a lot of fun to play. It was giving me all the sound I was after/that sound was there in spades. My first Friedman and there are tons of options and I have some dialing in to do. The sound I want is there, that’s the most important thing. Smoothing it out is the next step and band rehearsal tmmorow should let me know how it sits in the mix. 100% pleased
 
Yes - the BE50 is here! It has far exceeded expectations and feels like a bargain at $3,500 honestly.

A few observations, and then I will post a full review tomorrow:

1. Seriously, my guitar playing is not worthy of this amp.

2. Dave has REALLY outdone himself this time. If youre into Marshall-esque tones, this is without a doubt the best amp you can buy

3. Basically any Marshall-esque tone you want is in this amp, more so than other amps. More versatile than my Smallbox (wildwood edition), my Dirty Shirley, and any BE100 Ive played. Versatility is the name of the game here.

4. If the clean channel is the "Buxom" clean, then I think I should get a Buxom Betty because it sounds SO damn good.

5. The new voicing on the HBE channel sounds amazing, like the butterslax kinda.

Man I hope mine ships soon. My Sweetwater rep said they expect the next batch in a week or so, I hope he's right. I'm almost as excited about the clean channel as the dirt channels. I had a Buxom Betty combo for a while and it was great.
