Torpedo live "leaking" sound?

When I am playing through my torpedo live, I can very clearly hear my amp tone coming out of the left side of the unit where the load and cooling is... sounds like a tiny pocket radio. Is that normal and my vh4's tone too awesome to be contained or should I be worried?

its totally normal, i freaked out a little when i first heard it too, thought the amp was going to explode

It is indeed what we sometimes call Coil Whining, and it is not really possible to avoid as soon as we are using a reactive loadbox technology (reactive, like a real cabinet).
