Hi Nicolas, here is a message I published some time ago, we will have another version soon, so do as you please, but read carefully the message first.

it is too early for a proper public beta, so I offer my contacts the possibility to try the new Remote for Torpedo CAB and Live. Please read this before doing anything, this is an early Beta!

Here you can download the new remote, you will be offered to update your Live/CAB after the install:

Report the bugs on our Help Desk, there is a "Beta" section. The dev team is back on the last week of August, we aim at a proper version for September.
Known Bugs:
The following bugs of this early beta release are already known. They should be kept in mind and do not need to be reported.
- In the Preset Manager, loading a preset in the Arcade bank does not work.
- Loading a preset from the computer when in Arcade mode does not work (and may lead to a System Error 150 on the Torpedo Live or CAB. If this happens, just restart the Torpedo).
- The Preset Level knob in arcade mode has a small dead zone near its maximum value, where moving it doesn't change the level anymore.
- A few windows don't have their final look.
- The Vu meter is not properly placed and doesn't work properly.
- There is text missing from the pop-up when entering the Preset Manager.
- When a Computer or Online file is loaded into the Torpedo, and the Torpedo is turned off or disconnected: when turning it on or reconnecting it, the Computer or Online file still appears in the Remote, but the Torpedo is set to another file.
- When loading files from the Memory Manager, the list in the Edit window is not refreshed. The Remote has to be closed and opened again.

Before i came to work i installed this and did a quick test, the arcade mode is great!!!, with in 45 seconds i had a great sound! well done.
The reverbs sound great too, too bad they are mono in the TCAB, but still usefull to give depth.
Thanks for this soon to be release update, its going to make dailing great tones even easier.

I filed a detailed Remote Beta Bug Report via the Two Notes Help Desk.
My TCAB's Firmware failed to update after installing Remote 3.1 Beta. I received an error backing up patches (the patches did back up fine, permissions are write enabled etc).
OS: Vista Business 32Bit.
Looking forward to trying this out when I can!

My problem was due to a bug saving user created presets, which Two Notes has ID'd and plans to fix for the next beta rev (which is supposed to be coming this week sometime).
If you have saved any of your own user presets then this is the likely issue.
