Tremol-No question

So I have this unit in one guitar that the previous owner installed. Guitar sounds great with no tuning issues. I leave the Tremol-No set up in fully floating mode all the time so I'm not using either the fully locked, or dive only locked positions at all. I'm curious if the Tremol-No is influencing the guitar tone or its resonance just by being there as it has a very thick spring claw & presumably it's locking C clamp would provide additional acoustic coupling between the trem block and spring claw itself.

I'm considering removing it and getting a standard spring claw just to see if the guitar could sound even better.

Has anyone noticed a tonal influence of the Tremel-No in full floating mode vs. full floating mode prior to it's installation?

I have never noticed any tonal changes adding the Tremo-No to any of my guitars

How about damping the flutter effect? Does it "stifle" it?

I love me some flutter FX, and if removing it from my Luke II will help (also 2nd-hand with the TN installed), I'll not hesitate...

I have noticed I tonal change. I think the thicker claw affects the tone a bit. Can help or hurt depending on guitar.
