Tremolo/Bridge,Nut width measurements

I don't think nut width has anything to do with it? It's about the string spacing at the bridge. Tremolos are typically spaced a little wider than fixed bridges. Fender, Wilkinson, and Floyd bridges need 53mm or F-spaced pickups.

I thought for a minute that he maybe was asking about which locking nut for a 1 5/8" nut width?

If that's the case, then it depends on how the neck was made. There are two 1 5/8'' floyd nuts, IIRC.
