Yeah! Like the occasional song or three, I think I have a couple of their albums, at least Shogun lying around.

Matt Heafy's a monster player IMO as well.

I saw them open for In Flames back in Feb. Not my thing, but have to give them props, super tight live band.

I really really liked their Crusade album. I thought it was thrashy enough and he changed how he sang. It worked really well. But honestly, all of their other albums stink

Yep. Song-wise can be up & down but a killer live band.

Meh-status is high.

Killer chops from both players, they just need to focus more on songwriting than just shredding and trying to be Metallica

Very well put together, but it's a bit too pop for me.

I think they're a great band, I can kinda understand some dislike for them but I like them. Each album is VERY different from the ones before so it's hard to give them a subgenre (which I could care less about labels). I like each album for what it is and not what everyone thinks it should have been. They all seem like very nice down to earth guys too.

I absolutely love the Shogun album, I think it is their best work and it is my goto modern metal album if I am in the mood.

If you don't like this intro you have to be mental.

Another great track

I like them musically, but can't stand the singing, if you can call it that.

I love heavy thrash type music, but not really a huge man of them, but they were really good live when I saw them in 2005 or so.

Yeah, I could take them or leave them. I find it hard to put up with a bunch of growling and grunting for too long. They have a few interesting songs though and work the crowd well. Thought the video production was pretty cool. Not sure how I ended up there on YT..... :D

Not a huge fan but I dig them. They shine on stage as well.

Saw them open for Maiden last year and they did a really good job working the crowd, this was an achievement considering the ageing population that is the average Maiden fan...

I find it funny that the growling puts a lot of people off, when for me it's the singing I can't stand.
