Hello. I thought I repair my tuner(Boss TU-80) but unfortunately no. Now I've got a dead tuner since yesterday.
I've got problems - tuner turned off randomly , became very inaccurate. And boom - yesterday tuner didn't want to turn on.
So I decided to buy something really reliable and accurate. I heard that Peterson makes great tuner but they are very expensive - but hey, quality must cost.

Can you give me a few examples of well know and something available in Europe ? I thought about Peterson Strobo Rack but it is worth this price ?

I have the Strobo-Rack and a Korg GT-120 (plus the Axe Fx tuner I guess)
Nothing seems to get my guitars in tune as well as the Strobo does.

Definitely expensive but an awesome product non the less.

I have a polytune and it's pretty good, although once in a while it will freak out on stage. I also have a Korg Pitchblack, great tuner and has never let me down.

Just recently I picked up a Snark SN8 and will be testing it out this week at rehearsal. Quite a few friends swear by these so I thought I would try one. You can find them on Amazon for about 12 USD, not sure what they go for in Europe but may be worth looking into. They are supposed to be extremely accurate and they clip onto your headstock.

Yep, my Pitchblack was cheap and never lets me down.

Around the house I use Polytune on the iPhone

Is the Sonic Research Turbo Tuner available in Europe?

I love my strobo-rack, but don't use it live. I found that if you don't tune all the instruments (bass, other guitar player, etc) that its so accurate that other instruments sound out of tune unless they use it too.

For live stuff I use a Boss TU-3 now since my Polytune took a dump.
