I’m at the beginning of turning this old Klipp with Partridge transformers into a JJ. I kinda dug my old JJ back in 2014 I bought og SteveK. And wanted to give it a try.

I bought a lot of parts fra ceriatone. Just because. Easy.

Not doing the clean channel. Only the drive.

I have depth, presence and normal EQ on front with drive and master. And have 3 switches. 1 3-way and 2 2-way. The 3-way will be switching between MSP06 and maybe 18 volt zeners. Not sure about the other 2 yet.

Any guidance are appreciated. I wired up the heaters today.

Should I re-use the mustard caps? Or are they too old?

Any mods are welcome. And/or use for 2 2-way switches :)

I have not wired up the 4th preamp tube. Not sure what to use it for.

Electrocuted on may 23rd and still have a shiny spot where new skin has grown back and a little scab still. Odd… I guess it burned inside out. That’ll wake you up in the morning……

The Friedman JJ100 is one of my favorite Friedman amps, they sound killer. I seen AIC back in 2014 with his JJ100's and the tone was every bit as good as the Snorkler!
