So I have decided to buy some nicer cabs from Forte. I am deciding between two of the 3D 1x12s, vs either one of the 2x12s. I figure with two 1x12s I would be able to stack them, and have a very similar response to the vertical 2x12.

I have to say I have always preferred 1x12s, or 2x12s to 4x12s. Now I just have to decide which one should work better for me. I am leaning towards 2 1x12s since I will be able to stack them, or move them a few feet apart, and if I start jamming somewhere else I could always leave one cab at home, and one at a jam space.

For speakers I am thinking about loading one with an Eminence Delta Pro 12A, and the other with either a Jensen Electric Lightning, or a Scumback XH75 LHDC I have sitting around to start with.

The Delta is my favorite 1x12 speaker. I have two 1x12's each with a Delta.

I would go with a 2x12. You'll get better low-end response than 2 1x12's.

These cabs are supposed to have decent low end, and having a delta pro in one will add as much low end as I could want! I used to have one, and that speaker really shkes the walls!

So I went with two 3D 1x12s with two Jensen Electric Lightning speakers. I also have a scumback XH75LHDC that I will try, and I am thinking about ordering an Eminence Delta Pro 12a to try as well. I think I will have fun in the new year.

I actually like the mini stack look of a head on top of 2 1x12s, plus this brings the amp up to where it is easier to make adjustments. And now the waiting begins.
