Two notes torpedo live setup help

So my torpedo live arrives tomorrow.
I want to use it with headphones...

What's the best way set this up?

I have a laptop, a recording interface, a guitar head, and headphones.

Any help would be great!

I'm kinda new with this so if you explain use baby words lol!

Edit: my interface is a 2i2, how do I hook up line out from the live to the 2i2? Just use a guitar 1/4 cable?

Amp out jack on back of your amp set to 8 Ohms via speaker cable... into Speaker Input on back of Torpedo... S/PDIF out to S/PDIF in on back of audio interface (Focus Rite) via S/PDIF cable.

or

Amp out jack on back of your amp set to 8 Ohms via speaker cable... into Speaker Input on back of Torpedo... USB out via included USB cable to Mac/PC... edit/record with Logic or other.

I'd then plug the headphone in to Torpedo, not the Focusrite as it has a better headphone amp built-in.

You can use either. I have my torpedo live hooked up away from my computer at the moment and the headphone out is awesome on the Live.

Once you hook it up choose one amp to really work on with the matching cab. throw an sm57 on it and dial the distance and center in. I have never gone over 10% either way and rarely go over 5%. If you don't have any pedals hooked up use the built in reverb which you will need to update the unit to have. The reverb is going to be set at 50% which is crazy high. Your also going to want to download the remote software to do that. Also check out the la boutique i feel like the best cabs are in the store. My favorite is the friedman v30 cab.

Dont use Spdif. just..dont.

That's one reason why I like the Studio better than the Torpedo Live.

Can I go line out from Torpedo to apogee in 1/4inch output apogee 1/8th headphones?

In my experience the spdif and line out are sending the exact same signal to the interface....works just as good I tested them both at the same time no difference, so if you only have spdif dont sweat it.
