Two notes torpedo studio question

So I have a Torpedo live, it isn't silent...
My wife can hear it from the bedroom at night, sound comes from the unit itself and I've heard that they all do that?

Does the studio do it too?

I have a Studio and I've never heard sound coming from the unit itself.

Didn't realize the Live had a speaker in it (I'm assuming that's what you're talking about).

I'm not sure if it's a speaker but it's got sound coming out of it that's for sure lol

You must have headphones not on your head
There's no sound coming out of my Live, at least none I ever noticed & certainly not annoying people sleeping down the hall

Yes there is a faint bit of signal that will come from the transformer or whatever but no one should be able to hear it from more than 1' away. It is almost inaudible like if you you were standing next to someone wearing headphones with the volume low and they took them off... if that makes sense. If your wife can hear it from more than a foot or so away and hear it CLEARLY then you may want it looked at.

I definitely hear mine from maybe 10-15' if I'm in the same room with no audio coming through my speakers and the amp itself is cranked pretty high. As stated it's not defective, that's just the nature loadboxes and the transformer.

a bit late to the party, but I had the same thing.
I ended up realizing it was the transformer of my amp, not the Torpedo's, making sound.
