One of my "switches" on my Uberschall footswitch is acting up. FX side won't turn off loop intermittently and probably need to replace the switch. Looks like an easy swap with only a few wires, anyone know the TYPE of switch it is? DPDT momentary or other?

Called Bogner but there was no answer. I know my RT brothers will know!

Thanks,
Bryan

Here is a pic. Mine is a 2002 Uber.

DPST (actually a DPDT with two legs clipped off). You could use an SPST or SPDT though since the poles are connected, and I'd actually recommend swapping in a Carling SPST over replacing it with another exactly like that. Dunno if it's momentary or latching.

Do you have a multimeter? If so, measure for continuity between the middle pair and the two outer pairs when you click it. If there's never continuity between the middle and clipped legs, it's momentary. If you don't have a multimeter, you'll have to go by the action of the switch. If it makes a hard click, it's latching. If it's soft and never clicks, it's momentary. I know the channel switches on my 100B's footswitch are momentary, so I'd assume the Uber's are the same, but I've never actually played with the footswitch when messing around with an Uber.
