Hello All,
Today I finally broke down and picked up an irig so I can have better quality recordings with my iPad. So far I'm very happy with the setup.
All of these were with the guitar plugged directly into the amps, no pedals, no boost, no effects loop etc. I did not use the same riffs for each, nor the same cabinet for each. Each amp is dialed into my favorite settings for that particular amp and is mic'd on its own cabinet since that's what they were designed around. I did use the same guitar for all amps which is an all stock DeArmond S-67 7 string tuned down a half step.
These are just some quick throw together videos practicing recording with my new toys. No amazing virtuoso type riffs here. I'm just a hobby guitar player that mostly likes to jam on some downtuned heavy riffs. Now that I have some ok recording stuff I might be more inclined to actually come up with some cool riffs.
