Here's a quick clip of the Uberschall through matching cab....single sm57, no boost:

(I love that amp fot teh bro00thulzz)

Definitely has a deep grind. I dig 'em in my old JMP, as well. 8)

Definitely lost that flubby low end. I'm surprised that it sounds that tight unboosted.

Whatcha got in the preamp sockets?

Sounds good. I'd love to hear another clip with the gain turned down a touch.

I experimented with sooo many preamp tubes till I settled on this mix...
don't know it from the top of my head though...gotta have a look later

EH 6CA7 is one of the best tubes out there for EL-34 amps!

Pretty much my second choice after =C= for most amps.

Oh, and great clip!

The EH's are supposedly Sylvania style 6CA7's . I have a Pair of Mesa str 416 EL34/6CA7 in my JVM 410 , what a difference from the EL34 svets it came with . Less noise , quite a bit tighter for the chuga chuga . Way bigger bottom end and yet still tight. The attack seems quicker .Im really in love with these style of tubes . Yes the EL34's are a bit more fluid and have a hell of a roar but, the 6CA7's are just huge and crushing . Plus just the pair cut so much FIZZ out of the JVM . I wanted to mod the Marshall for 6550 or kt88's . The 6CA7's will do just fine without the mod . Thank you Yontz from Mad Science Works here in Raleigh , he suggested that I try the tubes out . Luckly, I somehow found a pair to try out .

The details about the recording chain are in the yt description

Sounds good, but can it walk through a Carl's Jr. drive thru?

Yeah man, it's definitely heavy enough to trigger that bitch:)

\m/ :30 is so brutal.....This amp kills most others. I really want one and I will be looking into the EH's when its time to swap mine.

Killer!! I put a set of JJ 6ca7's in my Stiletto , gives it a lot more grinding thickness too.
