Ok i wanted to ask you guys thoughts about the feel of the bogner uberschall, ive been playing ubers since 2004 and i love the amp.
i am not talking about the TWIN JET either, to me thats a different amp.

im talking about the rev 1, rev2, and rev blue ubers of the world?

do you feel its a loose or tight feeling amp??

seems like i see somebody once or twice a month saying its tight and i personally dont agree, yes its tighter feeling than a recto but i cant really think of it as a tight amp. i think the framus cobra, diezel vh4, vht ultra lead are tight amps, i dont understand it when i see somebody post that they found the uber to be tight and have a quick attack. i think it sounds big and saturated with a fat ass, huge lows with sag!!

agree or disagree??

I think mine was a Rev 2. All I can say is I bought it and the Uberkab and it sounded huge. Unfortunately I couldn't play it at volume often and at bedroom volumes I felt it was kinda sluggish. But man with the power section working a little it was a monster. I didn't think it was super tight but with some volume it was plenty tight enough for me.

i played mine live about 10xs.
i got it really loud a few times at some outdoor shows i played and it sounds huge, i always thought it was a great amp.
but never did i consider it a tight amp, i use a uberkab 90% of the time, i hated it with greenbacks, i like it with a cab loaded with all v30's too.
i used to have a vht deliverance cab and a splawn cab loaded with v30 and k100, but for some reason i always liked it best with the uberkab. i always like to try different things, i played my uber boosted for about 5 yrs but in the last month i havent boosted it.

Shit. We've been describing amps wrong all these years......if that's the case Tom!

I agree it's fat with a lot of bottom end and is saggy yet tight. Wait, what are we talking about again?

Chewy and chunky.

Juicy and loosely tight with a lil sag like ya Mom...

"yes its tighter feeling than a recto but i cant really think of it as a tight amp", I had a similar experience with my Rev 2 and Blue versions in that regard.

I used to boost my Rev 2 and Rev Blue 'Schalls to tighten them up occasionally.

I should qualify at lower volumes, at band level it wasn't as noticeable.

I agree that at low volumes, it gets pretty woofy and the bottom end is a bit out of control.

LOL at all the adjectives being used!

I have a rev. blue and I would never consider it tight. Now my Deliverance 120 is what I would consider tight. I do play it through an Uberkab but forget what speakers I put in it at the moment. The Uberschall is one of my favorite amps but seems as though it doesn't get a lot of love in most circles.

Im glad somebody agrees that its not a tight feeling amp with a quick attack.
Maybe people will see this and stop saying its got tight lows. I think theres alot of people that doesnt know what they are talking about when describing their amps.

I use a boost most of the time to tighten it but lately ive been playing it without one, i think i will go back to boosting it.

Bogner uberschall = Fat girl that has a juicy booty with sag.

Yeah but I don't mind if people see me play out with my Uberschall. Unlike if I were out with a fat chick.

I agree. I've owned all the different versions... and they fit your description. Loose, slow attack, thick, saturated, and dark voiced. The polar opposite would be a Engl SE or Fryette UL. I didn't like the TJ much either. Bogner tried to address these issues with the TJ... and on paper/schematics it should've... but a lot was lost in translation to the production unit.
