Even the smallest of discoveries get me excited enough to geek out sometimes.....

After sticking to Dunlop 65 guitar polish for the last 10 years or so.......I just used regular old Martin guitar polish on 2 of my guitars. WOW....this stuff is awesome! It buffs off better, has more of a visually noticeable shine.....and doesn't leave any residue to feel whatsoever.

*cue "Hallelujah".......

Rickenbacker recommends Turtle Wax for newer guitars, any non-abrasive carnauba wax like a 50/50 mix of TurtleWax T-123 and water. Some Ric owners use Zymol or Scratch X for more deep cleaning and removing of surface scratches. Check with forums for your guitar brands to see what people use. YMMV. I keep mine very clean, so I haven't needed any wax or cleaner, just use the polishing cloth that came with the guitar after I finish playing the guitar.
