once you start looking back into all the wars the US had involvement, the truth is amazing. dating back to the Spanish-American War and the War Between the States.

The one that many find most difficult is WW2. Not to condone Japan's actions, they killed more people in China alone than Germany did in total. I've seen estimates in the 10M range, or higher. Look into the US sanctions / oil embargo on Japan in the '30s; Japan's expansion in the Pacific was seen as a threat to the US positions there. US needed a reason to get American serfs to support a war against Japan. (same playbook being used for China today, using Taiwan as the "reason". the playbook works, why change it?)

Recall that ALL of the US carriers were not at Pearl Harbor the day of the attack. Carriers never traveled alone and they still don't; they travel in carrier strike groups, battle groups or other types of groups consisting of various types of ships and support vessels.

Don't stop believing.

Is the US still looking for Saddam's weapons of mass destruction in Iraq? US still has troops there, guess they're still looking. :ROFLMAO:

There was a 30 day period when GW was ( unnecessarily) awaiting congressional approval for invading Iraq. I clearly remember during that time seeing on CNN a convoy of Iraqi military trucks crossing over into Syria. I wonder what was in those trucks.

That’s not saying I supported the war. Or at least the way it was conducted. I would have supported 40 days of strafing runs and total annihilation of their infrastructure and then just going home, but…….

why would the US bomb two unused pipelines?
remember Germany voluntarily suspended use of Nordstream1, and never authorized the use of Nordstream 2 even though it was operational.

If Russia wanted to cut the gas supplies to Nordstreams 1 and 2, they could simply turn off the gas.

If Germany decided it wanted Russian gas again, for any reason, and Russia agreed, then the gas would flow.

Now, let's go back a few years, before Nordtream 2 was started or completed; notice the list of US ruling parasties, demoncrat and republiturd, who warned against Nordstream being bad for the world. you may want to ask them why they destroyed it?

The article made it sound like Russia cutoff the first pipeline and then Germany said not to bother with the 2nd

Yes, when they needed parts repaired they were sent to Siemens in Canada, and Canada refused to send them back because of sanctions, reducing the supply. Russia eventually cut off the supply; but Germany also reduced consumption; both due to sanctions.

Both Nordstreams were operational prior to the sabotage; Germany and Russia could have agreed at any time to resume using the pipelines, weakening the sanctions on Russia. Destroying the pipelines made this possibility impossible. Who gained the most by destroying Nordstreams? Both Germany and Russia invested billions in the projects.
