So a friend of mine let me borrow this Sweet Honey. I like Andy Timmons and admire his warm&fat tone and whatnot.. have bought a BB preamp and all that jazz but surprisingly, this pedal has given me the closest vibe. The attack is similar (to my ears) to his, back down the focus know and is real dynamic and warm. Cuts just the right amount of bass so things stay tight and not wooly but not too much to the point where things sound thin. Low-Mid gain single notes sound pleasant..
I used an Alnico Blue 2x12 IR, so it's not even a real mic'd speaker. Imagine running this into a big iron 6L6 blackface head...
Anyways, so I sat down for a couple hours and wrote a piece of music (AT style... ish.) in the same night I got back home. An instant inspiration! lol
Here it is.

If you use a good OD pedal into a Mesa Lonestar or Stiletto, that's what he uses for gear. But the rest of it.....well that's the hard part.

I really like that a lot. Andy is one of my current heroes.

Every guitar player should learn something from Andy IMO.. especially his expressive but not overdone phrasing.

How different does his tone sound live with Mesa than on the resolution recording as he is using Marshalls on that release.

Even with the Marshall's on Resolution, Andy takes all the treble out and adds mids and bass = Mesa tone!
