Unexpected NGD! 1994 PRS Standard 24 w/birds

i havent had a NGD in a while and ive been looking for a PRS to give my trusty 1990 CE24 alderbody w/maple top plain jane workhorse some rest...but i havent been able to bond with any of the fancy pants mega flame/quilt top Cu24s...

but alas...i found this yesterday afternnoo and and took it home last night.

1994 PRS Standard 24

the wife has already named it "toffee apple"...and only got to play it for around 15mins with an amp last night (got it home at 11pm)
the fret board needs a good clean and the action could do with a setup, but other than that...its mint condition for a barely legal (17year old)

Congrats PRS standards of any body style seem to be my favorites. I have 2 McCarty and 1 Singlecut standard.

no one noticed how dirty the fretboard was?

its was pretty bad, but my CE24 was worse when i rescued it...the frets looked like it had green/mould on it,
same with my american deluxe strat, which i also rescued from some punk rocker...luckily maple fretboard was easier to clean

Congrats man... that fretboard was pretty grimy to say the least... You did a great job cleaning it up and giving it a new lease on life though! Looks nice with your black CE as well.
