Come across this locally for $240. Had a JB installed, so I figured it'd be a safe buy. When I picked it up the Floyd setup was jacked, like 20 degrees, neck filthy, intonation screws not tightened, tuners loose, 250k bridge pot instead of stock 250k and I needed a tetanus shot from handing the strings.
Stopped my Mouser and picked up some low friction pots on the way home. Rewired the electronics, did a complete setup for 10's, polished the frets and gave it a general cleanup.
Observations:
1. I got the action remarkably low. So much that I actually raised it up because I could get it unaturally low before buzz.
2. The Kramer branded floud seems suprisingly solid and stays in tune great. The plate is thick like a Schaller.
3. The mohogany body sounds really full and rich. Lots of grinding mids. So far, it's the best sub $400 guitar I've bought
