Snagged a minty Picoverb for $20 GC used.
Awesome! Exactly what I wanted, and expected.
28 bits is a lot of horsepower for a verb and you can clearly hear it. I was wanting a very small, (drop it into the back of a combo, or an open back 2x12) very studio/record sounding room/hall verb and this is the ticket.
Both room verbs, and the three plates are stellar. Deep, rich, just below unity gain. No tone suck. Can attenuate volume cleanly if you like. The delay is fixed, a 200-400... Perfect for light background ambience, fantastic cranked jammin along to a Floyd track.
Rotary/chorus, garbage. But you knew that.
Works in the Soldano loop perfectly.
Absolutely a best bang for my buck purchase. Two thumbs up, recommended.
