Scored a decent deal on a Mojave 4x12 straight cab in very nice condition. I'm hoping it is as good or better than my Splawn 4x12. It should be here next week and is loaded with Celestion G12H30/Warehouse Guitar Speaker Reaper 30 55hz in an x pattern. Never heard the reaper's and not usually a fan of G12H30's but will give them a go before I change them over to Celestion RI greenback or 4 old Scumback blueframe M75 25 watts. Or maybe 2 of the before mentioned on top mixed with 2 vintage 30's on bottom.

Don't hear a lot about them on the forums but when you do it seems that some people always swear by them?

Better purchase a back-brace... :scared: Has to be the heaviest 4x12 there is.

I have one with G12M pre rolas and G12H Heritages in a x pattern and it sounds great!

Had back surgery 5 1/2 yrs ago probably ready for another one!

That's encouraging, what amp are you using with it?

I don't even remember what I did with the cabinet. I sold my Dirty Boy head to a Rig Talk member, which I may buy back. I'd need to reconfigure the topology from Fender to Marshall to get the tones I want. You'll love the cab for sure! I preferred 4 x G12H Heritage 55Hz drivers in mine. I can see mixing drivers, but I've never understood the logic behind placing them in an X pattern?

I've had 3 Mojave 4x12s. Great sounding cabs. The only reason I don't have them anymore is that I have my own Henning Amplification cabs now.

I think I remember seeing you have one up for sale once here? My purchase was a spur of the moment thing and did not research it all but remember reading that they were very nice sounding cabs so I was excited to have one...then after the fact started doing google searches and found some people thought they were very dark cabs with not much mids, and others liked them so who knows. It does look like the Baltic birch is a little thicker than traditional marshall style and no center post screwed into the back panel.

Yes, I actually sold all three of them when I started doing my own amp thing, but it certainly wasn't because I didn't like them. Just wouldn't make sense to be demoing Henning Amps through Mojave cabs,,, ;)

Great sounding cabs, very solidly built.

Didn't dig the stock H30's, too bright.
Replaced them with 65w M75 Scumbacks, MUCH better.

Cab showed up Saturday. Nice cab but after 2 days was not digging the G12H30 and WGS Reaper 30 mix. Stuck some very broken in reissue greenbacks and now it is awesome. Love this cab! Good used buy for sure.
