I'm not trying to 'dis' Kemper here... I'm just a little pissed-off about what has taken place. This is more of a sanity-check, so please respond accordingly.
I uploaded two excellent sounding profiles of my Cornford RK100 to the Kemper Rig Exchange last week, and since sending my Kemper back to the dealer, I'm now being denied access to my profiles. Note: I sent the unit I had back in favor of getting a newer unit with the updated LED's that don't burn out as easily. According to Kemper, returning the KPA would not have changed my status as a Kemper forum member, and should have full access to the RE. Kemper says they cannot find any information pertaining to my membership. It's as though I never joined, yet my profiles are posted on the rig exchange with my name listed as the author.
This may sound presumptuous, and maybe even a bit paranoid; but do you think Kemper could have deleted my access to prevent me from deleting those profiles? After all, they are excellent profiles, so I can't blame them for wanting to keep them posted...
There may just be a glitch in their system, I don't know? I was ready to purchase a new KPA Powerhead, but I'm holding-off until I get an acceptable response from Kemper support. Half the fun of owning the Kemper (IMO) is making profiles... If I can't have complete access to my profiles, I'm out!
I uploaded the RK profiles for all to enjoy. I put many hours and a small fortune into rebuilding my RK100, and as long as I had access to the files, I was fine with posting them. I'm now glad that I didn't upload my best profiles... If this situation isn't rectified accordingly, I doubt I will ever post another. I may just go with the Fractal Axe Fx II system instead.
Just know that when you upload profiles of your amps, you MAY loose access to those profiles when you sell your Kemper.
