Used 2015 vintage white Schecter PT is on the way from GC. I love the Schecter PT's. Maple neck with satin finish is my only concern. I dont care gloss on maple necks, but I hear satin is better. 6100 Jescar frets. Can't wait to get it.

The USA Schecters are looking amazing these days. I the MIK's are great bang for the buck.

Yup, but his one was $1200. New it was $1600. I remember almost getting one 3 years ago. Yes, since then, the price has gone up to Suhr pricing on some. Got it from Gc in Nashville and will be here Tuesday. The rep took pics and sent them to me it appears to be in pristine condition.

45 day return; can’t lose really!

Schecter USA is no joke. Custom Shop are former ESP Custom guys!

Fuckers are expensive.. Hope it's good.
Really? For a custom shop instrument I'd say it's a steal.

Also, one of the best guitars I've ever played was a USA made PT.

Still trying to put my hands on something like this

Mmm I remember it different. John Gaudesi used to work for ESP CS/Yahama/Valley Arts, but he's pretty much the only one in the crew who was involved with ESP in the past afaik.

Usually great guitars. I've had a couple USA CET and now a Korean pt which is great too

Congrats. I thought ESP owned Schecter
Not exactly, th same guy owns both companies, but they work as indipendent companies.

USA Schecter’s are great! I have a super Strat style one that I had no intention of buying but, after playing it and I could not leave the store without it. I owned an MIK PT set neck myself back in the day that soundsed great too. Enjoy it when you get it!

Awesome score, those USA Schecters are killer instruments

I don't get what you are tellin me. You mean the price?

I had KILLER Shecter custom shops in 2015 a PT with custom woods and another shredder model with a maple cap and I like then both WAY better than any SUHR guitar I owned... and I owned a couple pretty high end SUHR guitars.

Do you happen to have pics?

Got the guitar today. It's great. I would probably change the HH pickups to duncans. It's built amazingly.

HOWEVER, I have to MIK PT Standards and those guitars play just as well. I am super impressed with those compared to the USA PT, which is an overall quality build and parts, but the MIK's are AMAZING value if you like a hefty HH tele that can do some good strat and LP tones. The MIK's are rock machines!

I'm not sure I'll keep the USA model. It feels amazing, like the MIKs. The USA neck is slightly thicker by an eight of an inch maybe. But I could spend half the money and modify another MIK.

Regardless, I believe I am now a Schecter player for life. I like them better than my Strat and my Les Paul. Those are both great USA made guitars, but I play my MIK Schecter PTs more than those.

Give Schecter a look. Especially the MIK PTs.

Agree with Ivan...USA Schecter makes great guitars! I think there every bit as good as many custom guitar shops out there. I think Nick Johnston's sig model is a really pretty version of a strat that sounds great!
