Use a buffer if you use the thru while recording DIs

I came across this in my feed a couple days ago and it finally made sense why my DIs sounded muddy. Whether active or passive, if you use the thru on your DI the xlr out can be affected.

This inspired me to do some other testing and I found that the TB thru on my Zuul+ gate was also sucking quite a bit of tone when the pedal was off. I'm probably late the to party but I've found more and more arguments for a good buffer, especially if you have a dark amp. Don't always trust TB thrus

I had tried to eq this out in the past but got the results I was looking for using the buffer

Saw this, I was unaware too.

I'm going to run my xroad before my DI.

Has amazing buffers, tuner out and i can easily send 1 path to DI and another to an amp for monitoring
