Haven't been following prices lately, whats a good price to pay for either a standard or Ultra? Not a low ball amount, but not too much either..

$1300 std

$1750 ultra?

That sound reasonable?

I think theses prices are fair, but I have seen them go for more.

Sadly, they go for more than that. Not sure I understand why someone wouldn't just buy new at current used prices - even those you listed.

Yeah it seems to have gone up.. is there still a wait list if you order new at Fractal?

I can understand that, but you do get a two week trial if you buy direct. But you said again....so it's likely you'll sell it again so it's probably better to buy used.

I don't think your nuts, but then again, you're talking to a guy who's owned 5 Engl Fireballs, 4 VHT Deliverances, 3 Ultraleads, 4 Uberschalls and 3 Ecstacys. Currently on my second Mark V and Splawn Nitro.

I think of it more like borrowing the gear with cash collateral.

Off topic: I calculated yesterday that I could buy a Lenovo T410s for 980 euro's in the US, while the only one I can get here is about 2300 euro's. Prices are a fuckin' joke. I bought my mahogany Soloist for 1400 euro's in the US... a regular Jackson Soloist is about 3000 euro's (according to Fender Scandinavia), and don't bother to look for the mahogany version. Bah. And when it comes by mail, Customs gets its grabby hands on it and milks you dry. I don't even have a problem with paying taxes generally, if only the prices would be a bit more reasonable. Paying 2–4 times the amount you folks in the US have to pay is insane. And still y'all wine.
