That's about in the right range. Used singles sell anywhere from $650-1000 depending on condition. FWIW I have one for sale in near mint that I put up here for $900 with not a sniff. So I might be off a bit.

It does make a difference. Not only is canadian a better deal, but no shipping either. I'd go check it out at least.

After some talk through emails, I found out about a few things.
-warranty ends this Dec.
-toured with for "years" without a backup.
-transformer went on him once, but it's "fine" now.

I figure this amp has a lot of miles on it, but that's not always a bad thing.
It still makes you wonder though
