Hi all:

Im in a new project but my bass mate needs an amp so he asked me if I can borrow him my hagen to use with my 4x12 with v30s. Is that safe?

Thanks!

Yes, sounded pretty good but the wattage is low for anything truly clean or live use.

Safe for the head, maybe not the cab. Guitar drivers have 1 to 2mm of xmax tops while bass drivers have 6 or even 10mm of xmax ( excursion ), a good slap bass player could blow your drivers in seconds with a clean channel just from dynamics. Celestion doesnt even recommend it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZiDoCGrCRUw
